Travel Info

Getting to UBC:

Recommended: Download the Translink app to access bus, train, Skytrain and Seabus schedules.
From Airport:
Public Transit: Follow the signs to the “Canada Line” (Vancouver Skytrain) and take the train towards Waterfront Station. Get off at “Broadway/City Hall”. As you exit the station, you will find yourself at the southeast corner of Broadway and Cambie. Cross over to the northwest corner (kitty-corner to the Skytrain station) and wait at the bus stop for the 99 UBC bus**. This is a large express bus to UBC ($2.75 CAD to ride). Take it to the last stop, the UBC Bus Loop.
Taxi: Will cost around $30-35 CAD

From the Train Station*:
The Vancouver Train Station is located at 1150 Station Street, near the corner of Main Street and Terminal Avenue. Upon exiting the station, walk south to Terminal Ave and then west to Main Street (King George Highway), cross to north-west side, and catch a southbound bus on Main Street (either the “3 Main-Marine Stn”, “19 Metrotown Station” or “8 Fraser”) at the bus stop (“Southbound Main St at Terminal Ave”). This will cost you $2.75 CAD, and make sure to get a transfer. You will only stay on the bus for 2 or 3 minutes, and then get off at East Second Ave. Walk back to the intersection of East Second Ave and Main Street, cross to the north-west corner, and catch the express bus, “84 UBC”, on East Second Ave, which will take you all the way to the terminus station, the UBC North Bus Loop.
